Technical Developer - Quincy (Finance)

What you will do:
Primarily as a Unix / Oracle Pl/SQL developer , you will design and build robust processes utilizing your core skill set. You are expected to contribute to design discussions working with multiple development teams across projects in the reconciliation domain. The major focus area of this role will be in issue troubleshooting and performance tuning of the application processes working as part of the application development / support team.
Who you are:
- PL-SQL capabilities to build new stored procs, views and knowledge of database objects and strong experience in performance tuning.
- Oracle knowledge of relational databases, DB environment management and maintenance such as defrag , gather stats and work with DBA for database tuning.
- UNIX knowledge: Scripting, process management, Working on Unix maintenance , job management
- Working knowledge of any application server such as Websphere , Weblogic, JBOSS etc.,
- Preferred knowledge in Java/Spring boot , IBM MQ , Apache Kafka etc.,
- Understanding of multithreading concepts and principles of distributed systems.
- Good to have knowledge on cloud platforms / Snowflake implementation.
- Ability to work both independently as well as within a team.
- Proven problem solving, communication, interpersonal and analytical skills.
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Strong knowledge on Database concepts / architecture and experience on Snowflake
- Experience working in Production environment troubleshooting issues and managing app performance.
- At least 5 years of experience working with Web / Data warehousing applications with Oracle or any other relational database. Experience working on big applications.
- Experience migrating applications to AWS/Azure cloud platforms.
- Experience with any of the ETL tools

Salary Range:
$75,000 - $120,000 Annual
The range quoted above applies to the role in the primary location specified. If the candidate would ultimately work outside of the primary location above, the applicable range could differ.
