Job Overview:
The Account Manager position plays a vital role as a customer-facing member of the Cooper sales team, requiring seamless collaboration to achieve annual objectives.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Within geographic area responsible for selling reciprocating engines and compressor parts, service, repairs, upgrades, and turbochargers across various product lines, including Cooper Bessemer, Superior, Ajax, CAT G3600, Waukesha VHP, Clark, Worthington, and Ingersoll Rand legacy products. New equipment sales for Ajax, Superior, and Gemini engine-compressor lines are also integral. Regularly engage face-to-face with both current and prospective customers to comprehend their business needs and objectives. Communicate Cooper's latest innovations and technological solutions tailored to address customer operational challenges. Define sales strategies for the targeted clientele and collaborate with technical sales support to actualize sales objectives. Travel extensively, ~70% of the time in assigned area. Covering North East US in KY, MD, OH, VA & WV. Maintain and update the CRM system with Customer Assets, Open Opportunities and customer interactions, etc. Perform additional duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering from an accredited university preferred; alternatively, a minimum of an Associate Degree from an accredited technical college or trade school. A minimum of 8 to 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas Industry, specialization in sales origination, is preferred. Profound knowledge of oilfield, production facilities, and compression operations. Willingness and ability to travel extensively within the assigned territory, as well as to regional and corporate meetings. Proficiency in reciprocating compressors and engine operations. Results-driven leadership style focusing on empowerment to achieve innovative and measurable outcomes. Demonstrated mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, etc.). Prior experience highlighting a strong work ethic and multitasking ability.
