Team Hazmat Truck Driver (Finance)



As a Truck Driver - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will be responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of goods and materials to various destinations. You will ensure timely deliveries, maintain accurate logs, and adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.

This position has a $5,000 sign-on bonus for SINGLE Drivers and $10,000 for TANDEM Driver

As a Truck Driver - Level 1 here at Honeywell, you will transport goods safely and efficiently, ensure timely deliveries, maintain logs, and adhere to safety regulations and company policies. You will report directly to our Logistics Manager and you'll work out of our Geismar, LA location on an On-site work schedule.YOU MUST HAVE:
  • High school diploma or GED
  • 1-3 years verifiable tractor trailer driving experience OR 1-3 years of (semi) over the road driving experience (military time applied)
  • Must have a valid CDL with X endorsement or Tanker and Hazmat endorsements and be DOT certifiable. Verifiable tanker truck driving experience as stated on Military Driver's License with the ability to obtain required certifications
  • 6 months tanker experience (or can be trained)
  • Able to obtain TWIC Care

WE VALUE:
  • No license suspensions, revocations, DUI, or drug violations or reckless operation violations.
  • No more than one chargeable/preventable accident in the last 5 years.
  • No more than 3 moving violations in the last 5 years or no more than 1 preventable accident in the past 5 years
  • Ability to stay out for approximately 3 to 7 days

  • Safely operate and drive a company truck to transport goods and materials to designated locations.
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in proper working condition.
  • Load and unload cargo, ensuring it is properly secured and balanced.
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations, maintaining a safe driving record.
  • Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers to coordinate delivery schedules.
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and any incidents or delays.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures, including safety protocols and guidelines.
