DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:

  • Supervises, monitors, and evaluates assigned staff.
  • Provides support, development opportunities, coaching, guidance, and task direction.
  • Identifies and delivers relevant quality-related training.
  • Communicates quality results to internal departments and suppliers, utilizes tools to improve quality and
    process efficiencies.
  • Leads the development of process and organizational change recommendations that result in improved
    quality, increased effectiveness and cost reduction.
  • Coordinates with Engineering to establish, maintain, and communicate policies and procedures.
  • Forecasts work volume and staffing levels.
  • Assists with budget and resource planning.
  • Contributes to the documentation process, writing, editing and approving specifications and parts ensuring
    accuracy and compliance to standards.
  • Reports quality metrics to internal departments and suppliers, acts as a liaison between Nintendo and
    suppliers on quality issues.
  • Performs audits of contract manufacturer quality systems and determines process capability.
  • Contributes to the decision of bringing on new suppliers to Nintendo.
