DESCRIPTION OF DUTIES:
- Supervises, monitors, and evaluates assigned staff.
- Provides support, development opportunities, coaching, guidance, and task direction.
- Identifies and delivers relevant quality-related training.
- Communicates quality results to internal departments and suppliers, utilizes tools to improve quality and
process efficiencies. - Leads the development of process and organizational change recommendations that result in improved
quality, increased effectiveness and cost reduction. - Coordinates with Engineering to establish, maintain, and communicate policies and procedures.
- Forecasts work volume and staffing levels.
- Assists with budget and resource planning.
- Contributes to the documentation process, writing, editing and approving specifications and parts ensuring
accuracy and compliance to standards. - Reports quality metrics to internal departments and suppliers, acts as a liaison between Nintendo and
suppliers on quality issues. - Performs audits of contract manufacturer quality systems and determines process capability.
- Contributes to the decision of bringing on new suppliers to Nintendo.
