Job Description
The Sr. Project Manager, Global RAQA will report to the Dir Regulatory Programs and Chief of Staff. This role involves the development, organization, communication, and coordination of strategic projects and operational initiatives within the Global Regulatory Affairs department. This role will be instrumental in executing areas of regulatory growth and business process improvement. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking, operational expertise, and excellent social skills.

Essential Job Duties

  • Effectively manage cross-functional teams across departments and ensure the teams deliver against their commitments on time, within scope, and on-budget
  • Manage the project plan by identifying critical path, constraints, contingencies and mitigations to achieve project goals. Escalate threats to project plan as required to functional management, senior leadership, and key global contributors
  • Build ongoing partnership with the cross-functional teams to update weekly/monthly/quarterly reports on project status and ensure that cross-product dependencies are known, planned for, and crisply executed
  • Provide regular updates on status, risks and mitigation plans to senior management as needed
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements and synergies and improvement within the organization
  • Develop KPIs and operational efficiency metrics, baselining activities and track the outcomes of these metrics or KPIs
  • Assist in developing presentation narratives and drives/facilitates content creation for various forums, ensuring a robust communication cascade, cohesion of narrative and right sizing of the message to the audience (example: Reviews, quarterly updates, Town Hall, etc.)
Qualifications
Required Skills and Experience:
  • 8 + years of experience with a bachelor's degree or 6 years with a masters degree in a strategic, operational, or leadership role.
  • Experience in healthcare and technology industry
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Office; proficient knowledge of program/project management software (e.g. MS Project, Smartsheet, JIRA, coordination tools) desired
  • Exceptional project management, planning, decision making, negotiating and change management skills
  • Skilled in all phases of the project lifecycle including idea generation, concept, design, and development
  • Experience in studying tradeoffs between process design, customer needs/requirements and cost
  • Demonstrated ability to synthesize data, set actionable goals and drive metrics and execution
  • Experience with Business Process Management
  • Experience with schedule, budget, cost and risk management tracking tools
  • Regulatory and quality knowledge and experience
  • Project management experience and cross functional expertise for partnership

Nice to have Skills:
  • An MBA, project management certification (PMP, CSM), or other advanced degree is preferred.
  • Nimble business mind, focused on developing clever solutions
  • Proven project-reporting skills, with focus on interdepartmental communications
  • International organization skills
  • Creating cohesive and structured reporting dashboard
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment
  • Proven ability to drive, influence and work well at all levels of an organization and in a cross functional team environment

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, benefits, and equity. It would not be typical for someone to be hired at the top end of range for the role, as actual pay will be determined based on several factors, including experience, skills, and qualifications. The target salary ranges are listed.

Base Salary Range Region 1: $176,200 USD - $264,400 USD
Base Salary Range Region 2: $149,800 USD - $224,800 USD
