What you'll be doing:
o Using design modeling software; including REVIT and AutoCAD, to produce constructible 2D and 3D models of electrical system components, such as switchgear, cable tray, conduit, panel boards, control panels, and lighting with the understanding of how these systems are installed in the field.
o Prepare construction documents, single-line diagrams, panel schedules, and equipment layouts, according to specs, sketches, and rough drafts.
o Routinely coordinate with other design professionals and the build team to eliminate construction errors due to design flaws or issues. Achieve reduced time/costs related to potential errors of clash detention.
o Develop detailed dimensioned installation drawings to improve the efficiency of field electricians.
o Perform Surveying, when required, to document existing conditions.
o Create Prefab Drawings, Details and BOM's for Fabrication.
o May perform the following fundamental engineering functions:
Performs lighting & power design and layouts including circuiting and switching schemes.Performs single line designs, panel schedules, and load calculations.Organizes details of construction drawings and responds to construction administration items as they arise.

What were looking for:
o Associates or Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Design Technology, or related field.
o Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical design, preferably in a consulting or construction environment.
o Experience and proficiency using Revit, Navisworks, AEC, ACC, Autodesk, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office software.
o Knowledgeable of the National Electrical Code and local electrical building codes.
o Experience using Evolve software is a plus.
o Skills to read, interpret and understand electrical contracts, drawings, and specifications.
o Ability to communicate both verbally and through writing in a professional, courteous and knowledgeable manner
o Experience and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, assess multiple demands and manage priorities with a high degree of detail and organizational skills.
o Occasional Travel may be required.
