Director of Enterprise Risk Management - Remote Eligible (Finance)

COMPENSATION INFORMATION
The salary range(s) represents our good faith estimate for the role at this time. While we strive to provide competitive and transparent compensation, there may be circumstances where an offer is above or outside of the listed range. We are open to discussing salary expectations with qualified candidates considering factors such as the candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience and geographic location will all be considered during the hiring process.

Director of Enterprise Risk Management Pay Range: $163,200.00 - $216,200.00

As our Director of Enterprise Risk Management, you will:

Be responsible for critical and meaningful oversight of the SPP's credit, enterprise risk management, and corporate insurance functions as the Director of Enterprise Risk Management. Independently and proactively, you will lead SPP's risk and credit programs, utilizing your leadership and technical expertise to reduce our broad risk exposure. Your role will involve overseeing the implementation and execution of our enterprise risk program, ensuring alignment with SPP's strategic initiatives. This will involve effectively identifying, assessing, quantifying, managing, and communicating risks across the organization, including with SPP leadership, members, stakeholders, and the Board of Directors.

As the Director, you will also be leading a team of risk and credit professionals, providing guidance and direction to ensure effective and prudent risk oversight throughout the organization. You will collaborate cross-functionally with various teams to ensure comprehensive risk management across departments. 

To be successful as the Director of Enterprise Risk Management, you should have a: 

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics, or Engineering
  • Fifteen (15) years' experience in finance/risk/credit management
  • Previous experience in policy development, implementation and enforcement
  • Management experience
  • Risk Management experience
  • Demonstrated ability in performing advanced credit and financial analysis
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to work proactively and effectively with internal employees, customers and counterparts in the industry

Position Location:

This position is located in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work:

This is a full-time position, with a regular schedule of Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Extended hours may occasionally be required. Remote work may be authorized.

Travel Requirement: 

This position requires moderate travel (approximately 10%).
