Spot Welder (Manufacturing)

Job Description:
Set-up and Spot weld cabinets, doors, floors, etc.

Qualifications:
Knowledge of and ability to set-up, operate, and maintain all welding equipment including fusion and gas welders
Must be able to read blueprints and scale
Must have knowledge and ability to use hand tools
Must furnish own hand tools
Knowledge of and ability to meet all standards acceptable to Quality Control and Dept. Supervisor
Obtain supplies, position work and follow verbal or written instructions.
Weld to acceptable quality level .

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to be on feet up to 8 hours.
Physically able to do repetitive bending, twisting, gripping, grasping and lifting up to 75 lbs. when required.
Frequent gripping, grasping, bending and twisting
Able to keep up with speed of the machine
Knowledge of and willingness to follow all safety precautions of welding to prevent burns, flash, etc.
